For 2026, GMCH has listed 200 MBBS seats, including 156 UT Chandigarh Pool seats and 30 AIQ seats, along with Central Pool and Foreign Indian Student seats.
The first MBBS counselling was scheduled for 20 August 2026, while a second counselling round, if required because of vacant seats, is currently to be notified.
Candidates should therefore avoid relying on unofficial WhatsApp messages, social-media posts or predicted cutoffs for final admission decisions.
